Increasing Belonging in the Workplace: Prioritizing Psychological Safety

In this course, we will discuss the Interconnection of Safety and Belonging. We will examine barriers and facilitators to cultivating/feeling a sense of belonging in the workplace. Lastly, we will learn strategies I have practiced/seen modeled for me that have increased sense of belonging in the workplace including Radically Human introductions, play time, Courageous Conversations, and self-care practices.

This workshop is intended for non-profit workers.

about the facilitator

Melanie Gonzalez (she/her/hers) is an artist, researcher, consultant, and energy healer committed to participating in community efforts focused on undoing the effects of systems of oppression and working towards creating liberated and loving spaces.

She leads a community healing group called the Self Care Crew, works as an Evaluation Specialist for the CT RISE Network, and does independent coaching and consulting work for individuals and organizations throughout the tri-state area.
